Outbound Project serves as a key business unit of NMC, responsible for acting as the exclusive general agent in China for the global exhibition projects of The NürnbergMesse Group (Germany). The department is dedicated to providing professional overseas exhibition and business delegation services for Chinese enterprises. • Reports to: Vice President (Business Development & Exhibitions) Responsibilities: I. Team Management & Development Oversee the daily operations of the Exhibition Department, and formulate and optimize departmental workflows and standards. Responsible for team recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development planning to enhance overall team competency. Foster a positive team culture and strengthen team cohesion and execution capability. II. Business Development & Maintenance Develop and execute marketing strategies for agency exhibition projects in China to enhance brand awareness and market share. Lead exhibitor recruitment and buyer organization efforts to achieve annual sales targets. Develop and maintain a sales agent network, establishing long-term and stable cooperative relationships. Develop and manage service provider resources (e.g., logistics, booth construction, visa, business travel, etc.) to complete the overseas service chain. Provide comprehensive overseas support services for exhibiting enterprises to ensure client satisfaction. III. Budget & Financial Management Responsible for the preparation, execution, and monitoring of the department's annual budget to ensure all expenses remain within budget. Conduct regular financial analysis and cost control to improve departmental profitability. Participate in reviewing major procurement and partnership contracts to control financial risks. IV. Strategic Planning & Execution based on the company's overall strategy, formulate medium- to long-term development plans and annual business plans for the department. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, and adjust business strategies in a timely manner. Drive business innovation and digital transformation within the department to improve operational efficiency. Ensure stable departmental operations while achieving sustainable growth. V. Cross-Departmental Collaboration Maintain close communication with the German headquarters and global exhibition project teams to ensure information synchronization and resource coordination. Collaborate with other business departments of the company to identify cross-selling opportunities. Represent the department in company management meetings, reporting on business progress and key issues.
Job requirements:
Education & Experience 1. Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Marketing, International Trade, Exhibition Management, Business Administration, or related fields preferred. 2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the exhibition industry, with at least 3 years of team management experience. 3. Experience in overseas exhibition project operations or an international business background preferred. Professional Skills 4. Familiar with the exhibition industry operating model; rich experience in exhibitor recruitment and channel management. 5. Excellent business negotiation and client relationship management capabilities. 6. Proficient in office software and CRM systems; data analysis capability required. 7. Fluent in English as a working language (German language skills preferred). Comprehensive Qualities 1.
