Peter Ottmann elected to the UFI Board of Directors
- World Association of the Global Exhibition Industry appoints NürnbergMesse CEO to the Board for three years
"I am proud that we have so many enthusiastic members who want to contribute to strengthening our industry. It is a challenging time to make such a contribution and to rebuild and relaunch our trade shows around the world. So I extend a big and personal thank you to all of the newly elected and re-elected members," said Michael Duck, UFI president and executive vice president of commercial development at Informa Markets.
The UFI Board is comprised of a maximum of 60 members and is reelected every three years. During this process, members elect a global board with representatives from UFI chambers around the world. The Board is responsible for implementing the decisions of the General Assembly, developing UFI policy and making any proposals that affect the international exhibition industry. These proposals are presented to the UFI members for voting at the annual General Assembly.
