A Cross-Cultural Background Fostered a Diverse Vision

Born in Shanghai, Darren relocated to Germany with his family at an early age and grew up in two distinctly different cultural environments. This unique experience honed his deep understanding of both Eastern and Western cultures and developed his exceptional cross-cultural communication skills.

In 2011, he joined NürnbergMesse Group, serving as the International Sales and Business Development Manager for the Asia-Pacific Region. In this role, he was fully responsible for business development, international sales, and subsidiary management in China, Asia-Pacific, and East Asia.

Rooted in His Homeland, Driving Global Connectivity

Despite living abroad for many years, Darren has always maintained a deep connection to his homeland. In 2015, he returned to Shanghai and assumed the position of Managing Director at NürnbergMesse China, embarking on his mission to bridge his hometown with the rest of the world.

Darren has consistently upheld the principles of innovation and sustainable development, elevating Shanghai’s position in the global exhibition industry. Under his leadership, NürnbergMesse China has become one of the most promising subsidiaries within the NürnbergMesse Group.
